Weber Genesis Ii E410 Liquid Propane Gas Grill Reviews

Weber introduced the Genesis II E 410 in 2017 and it was a game changer. The 410 was a massive iv burner grill that demanded attending.  When the 410 came out it was slap-up but had a few flaws.  In 2019 Weber came out with an upgraded version, the Genesis Ii 435, that only might be perfect.

This review will walk y'all through the features of the 410 and 435 models, talk about some pros and cons and practice a head to head comparison with another four burner grill offered past Weber.

Genesis II E 410 and East/S 435 Specifications and Dimensions

Weber Genesis II 410 vs 435

The 410 and 435 grills are the same size and share many details in common.  Hither are the features that these grills share.

  • Grilling Area: 646 squares inches with an additional 198 square inches available on the warming rack
  • Grates: 34 x 19 inches
  • Burners: Four burners each rated for 12,000 BTU/60 minutes (48,000 BTU/hr total)
  • Heating Power: (48,000 BTU/hr) / (646 square inches) = 74 BTU per hour per square inch of grilling space.
  • Dimensions: 31x61x61 inches
  • Warranty: 10 years on all components
  • Fuel: Propane or Natural Gas

Differences Between the Grills

The biggest complaint people had with the E-410 is that even though information technology price most $1,000 it did not come with a side burner or Sear Station burner.  I tin can see their point, heck, you can spend hundreds of dollars less and buy the Weber Spirit 335 and get those cool features.

The upgraded E-435 and S-435 practice come with a Side Burner and Sear Station making them some of the nicest products Weber offers.  The 435 serial grills also come with an enclosed lower cabinet which is nice for keeping dogs and other small animals away from the grease tray.

There are two versions of the 435, an E and an S model.  The most obvious difference between the ii is that the lid on the E 435 is blackness porcelain enameled steel while the S 435 is stainless steel.

The MAJOR difference between the Southward and E 435 models is really the cooking grates.

E 435 vs S 435

The cooking grates on the Southward 435 are made from 7mm diameter rods of stainless steel compared to porcelain enameled cast iron on the E 435.

I Dearest the stainless steel rod cooking grate on the South 435.

The stainless steel rod grates:

  • Make better grill marks than the cast iron grates.
  • Are super like shooting fish in a barrel to clean.
  • Will last longer than the cast iron grate.

The 7mm rods are only slightly less thick than the 9mm rods on the ultra high end Weber Summit grills.  They are a serious upgrade.

Genesis II 410 and 435 User Reviews

I compiled all of the real earth user reviews posted on the websites for Weber, Dwelling house Depot and Lowes.  The complete data set included over 5,000 reviews and was consequent betwixt the different sites. Here is what teh reviews wait like.

E-410, E-435 and S-435 Customer Reviews

When you combine the 5 and 4 Star ratings all three of these grills have a customer satisfaction rating of over 90%.  The 5 Star reviews for the S-435 are slightly greater than for the other 2 grills.  I am non certain if the difference is statistically meaning or not but I can support the concept that the S-435 is the nicest grill out of all.

Eastward-410 E-435 Due south-435
v Star 81.56% 82.26% 83.68%
4 Star 10.62% 10.l% eight.22%
3 Star iii.99% three.37% ii.66%
2 Star ane.66% 1.21% 2.31%
1 Star 2.17% 2.66% 3.13%

Many of the negative reviews dealt with grills that arrived damaged or with missing parts.  In that location were also plenty of negative reviews who had been promised free associates from Dwelling house Depot or Lowes and got poor customer service

Versus the Acme Southward 470

With the introduction of the Genesis II S 435 Weber has created a marketing trouble.  The Superlative series is Weber's ultra premium grills and the Superlative S 470 costs about $1,000 more than the Genesis S 435.

The Superlative S 470 is a smaller grill than the S 435 just comes with the following upgrades:

  • Stainless steel smoker box
  • Dedicated smoker box burner
  • Tuck Abroad integrated rotisserie
  • Dedicated infrared rotisserie burner
  • Stainless steel trunk
  • Larger stainless steel grate rods (9 mm vs seven mm)
  • Handle mounted grill lights
  • LED fuel gauge
  • Lighted burner knobs

The upgrades on the Summit are nice merely I would non pay an extra $1,000 for them!
